The Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP®) designation provides full time philanthropists, coordinators, and wealth advisors with a common body of knowledge and a shared credential, enabling them to collaborate effectively with clients on legacy planning. The cross-disciplinary workplace curriculum spans and synthesizes the arts and sciences of philanthropic planning, including taxation, finance, fundraising, purposeful planning, family office dynamics, psychology, and strategic philanthropy.

For over two decades, the CAIA Charter Program has been a proven learning option for client-focused fiduciaries who want to develop a deep level of knowledge and demonstrated expertise in alternative investments and their contribution to the diversified portfolio.

Holding This Designation

Enrolled agents (EAs) are American’s Tax Experts®. They are the only federally-licensed tax practitioners who both specialize in taxation and have unlimited rights to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service. These tax specialists have earned the privilege of representing taxpayers before the IRS by either passing a three-part examination covering individual tax returns; business tax returns; and representation, practice and procedure, or through relevant experience as a former IRS employee. All candidates are subjected to a rigorous background check conducted by the IRS.

The CLTC® (Certification in Long-Term Care) program was created in 1999.  It focuses on the discipline of extended care planning.  It provides professionals the critical tools necessary to discuss the subject of longevity and its consequences on their client's family and finances.
