At Civic Financial, we believe in the importance of giving back and actively contributing to the communities we serve. Our team is committed to making a positive impact through long-standing partnerships and initiatives that resonate with our passions and values. Through our involvement, we aim to foster opportunities and connection, empower individuals, and create lasting change in our community. Additionally, we are proud to sponsor a robust employee gift-matching program that supports causes extending beyond what’s highlighted below.
Civic Financial is proud to support the special needs community through our partnership with the Special Olympics of Massachusetts, helping create opportunities for athletes of all abilities. Additionally, four of our advisors hold the Chartered Special Needs Consultant designation, enabling them to provide financial guidance to families and individuals with special needs. Our commitment extends beyond financial planning as we strive to make a meaningful difference by supporting the diverse needs of individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities.
We are especially proud to support the SquashBusters Organization. SquashBusters challenges and nurtures under-served youth – as students, athletes, and citizens – so that they recognize and fulfill their greatest potential in life. It is an after-school youth enrichment program that combines the sport of squash with academic mentoring and ongoing, post-secondary support. CEO Scott DeSantis began volunteering for SquashBusters in 2009, joined the Board of Directors in 2024, and Civic continues to support their causes on an annual basis.
We are deeply involved in giving back to the educational institutions that guided us. At Civic, we offer pro bono work for teachers and support our alma maters to propel the next generation of entrepreneurs. We also sponsor internship programs for college students to learn about the professional world and shape their knowledge of financial planning. Additionally, we fund educational advancement for our employees and encourage continued learning across the Civic team.
Through our athletic sponsorships, Civic Financial proudly supports athletes who embody dedication, resilience, and the drive to succeed. We sponsor Amanda Sobhy, the more decorated American squash player in history, as she trains for the 2028 LA games, and Moustafa “Moose” Bayoumy, a rising professional in the sport of padel. Athletic competition and maintaining an active lifestyle resonate deeply with our team, and we’re honored to help these exceptional athletes pursue their dreams and inspire others along the way.
